November 2008 It’s almost Christmas people! Gas up the car for the traffic, buy that Christmas tree, get the company party over with, be careful of the calories but most importantly—decorate your house with Doc’s Candles beautiful handcrafted wax products! That’s right, our Christmas candles are out in all our retail locations already. For corporate gifts email me and I’ll take care of it personally. This year we also have special Christmas baskets for sale, samples of these are in all our retail locations as well.
October, 2008 The Doc’s Candles 5th Invitational Golf Tournament went off last Friday October 31 without a hitch. As you can see on the left I was busy tallying and checking handicaps of the 55 players that came to Malarayat Golf Club to play. More pictures here Everybody went home with a candle and the lowest gross score was Gerald Katigbak who posted a 68 gross! Well done. See you all again for the Doc’s Candles 6th tournament in October 2009!
October 2008 Having now completed Manila Fame Show Oct 16-19 and the China Sourcing Fair in Hong Kong Oct 20-23 I am back in the hot seat once again. Hard work but somebody’s got to do it! Thank you for all the clients who visited us and placed orders and asked for samples! Rest assured we are working on it full blast. April 21-24, 2008 Booth at Hong Kong’s TDC House ware show at the Hong Kong Exhibition Centre.
April 12, 2008 We join yet another Wedding Fair April 12 and 13, this time in Megamall. Next fair will be at SMX in Mall of Asia May 17 for those who missed this one.
April 10, 2008 Great news! Doc’s Candles Denmark has had big success in promoting and selling our wedding candles in Denmark. And we have just been appointed by the Schackenborg Castle to supply special wedding candles for Prince Joachim of Denmark for their wedding May 24, 2008. Candle is here at the left, 12x40cm. The candles were made using 24k gold chains and the pearls you see are real south sea pearls! No expense spare here. Order was funny enough made today which is my birthday...-:)
April 2008 We have our booth for the next Manila Fame (Citem) Show at the World Trade Center in Manila. Trade fair dates are April 15-18, 2008.
Feb 20, 2008 Our booth and stand is confirmed for Hong Kong Houseware show April 21-24 This is one of the worlds biggest Home and Houseware shows in the world. Feb 1, 2008 We welcome to the Doc’s family of agencies Finndel OY who is now our exclusive agent for Finland. Finndel is managed by Petteri Kovanen and his partner in Helsinki. They will be doing wholesale through their own network of existing clients and new ones from their trade fairs in Helsinki. Finndel joined their first trade fair in Helsinki Jan 25-27 and had great response and orders right away, well done! January 2008 Doc’s Candles Denmark joins 3 wedding fairs in Copenhagen in just one month and gets heaps of wedding orders. They sold to over 100 couples, enough to fill up a 20’ container purely with wedding candles. See the pictures from the wedding fairs here

October 15, 2007 Doc’s Candles has just had its 10 year birthday! Yes, its now 10 years ago that we registered Doc’s Candles as a company and that has been celebrated locally in the news and with our workers here in Lipa. Its been a rough ride but we made it! Looking back on wonderful memories with clients, suppliers and with devotion and loyalty of our workers. Hoping for another 10 years of success! We are working on opening up Doc’s Candles webshop so you can buy our products online in the comfort of your home, where ever you are in the world. |
